Step 1 Make the pompoms
Using the pompom makers make 2 different sized pompoms.
If you don't have a pompom maker do not worry, you can just make 2 different sized pompoms using another method. I will link below some other videos I have made on different ways to make pompoms.

Once your pompom is made cut, tie and trim both your pompoms.

You will now have 2 different sized pompom.

Step 2 Assembling the pompoms
Using hot glue, place a generous amount of glue on the top of the largest pompom.

Place the smaller pompom onto the glue and press down firmly for a few seconds. Your pompoms should now look like the picture below.

Step 3 Make the chicks face
Taking the felt sheet and the hole punch, punch 2 black circles for the chicks eyes.

With the orange felt, cut a small triangle for the chicks beak.

Step 4
Place a small amount of hot glue onto some paper. Using a cocktail stick apply the glue to the back of the foam eyes and beak.

Make the chicks face so it looks like the picture below.

Step 5 Making the cracked egg shell
On some white felt draw 2 star like shapes in 2 different sizes. These are going to make the egg shells.

Cut them both out. They need to be different sizes as 1 is going to go on the top of the chicks head and the other is going to go on the bottom of the large pompom.

Add hot glue to the felt so that it sticks well to the pompoms. Make sure to glue all the points.
Add the small white felt shape to the top of the chicks head. Stick the large felt shape to the bottom of the large pompom so that it looks like the chick is sat in the egg.

Now your pompom chicks are all completed. I think they look really cute. If you don't want to add the felt to look like cracked egg shells you don't have to. You can simply just make cute pompom chicks.
