Step 1 Making the eyes

Wrap the black wool around the pompom maker 3 times. Position the black wool about 1/3 of the way down on the pompom maker arm. This will allow the eyes to be in the correct position.

Wrap orange wool (or the colour of your choice) to cover 2/3 of the pompom maker arm making sure you cover the black wool.

Place your finger (or pencil) over the pompom maker arm and wrap wool around the remaining area of the pompom maker like in the picture below.

Step 2 Repeating the process

On the second arm of the pompom maker wrap the orange wool around 2/3. Add a finger (or pencil) and wrap the wool around both the finger and pompom maker arm to cover the remaining area of the pompom maker. Do not add the black on this side of the pompom maker.

Step 3 Cut and trim the pompom

Cut all the way around the pompom, tie tightly to keep it all held together. Trim the pompom to make it look rounded at the top.

At the bottom of the pompom you will have longer pieces of wool that make the bottom of the ghost. Trim these to make them neat.

Step 4 Position the eyes

Using scissors or a something with a pointed end, position the black wool so it look like ghost eyes
