Step 1

Take the toilet tube and cut it in half. If you want a slightly taller pumpkin then adjust where you cut the tube.

Make small cuts all around both edges of the tube.

Step 2

Fold down the tube where you have made the cuts. Make sure you do this on both edges of the tube.

Your folded tube should look like the picture below.

The toilet roll tube with the edges all folded over to make a flat edge all the way around the edge of the toilet roll tube.

Step 3

Cut a decent length of wool and start to wrap the wool around the tube.

If you run out of wool, cut another long length of wool and tie the two ends of the wool together.

Two ends of wool.

Trim off any excess wool so all you are left with is a small knot.

Continue to wrap the wool around the tube. As the hole starts to fill up it becomes easier to use a needle threaded with the wool to push through the hole.

Now your pumpkin is all covered in wool and almost complete.

Step 4

Take a brown chenille pipe cleaner and cut it in half. Take half of the pipe cleaner, fold it in half and in half again.

Twist the pipe cleaner to keep it closed and push it into the centre of the pumpkin.
