If you like macrame crafts then this is the craft for you. These super simple macrame pumpkins are a great little autumn craft that you can easily make. The other beauty to this craft is that you only need a few supplies. If you do not have a wooden ring then do not worry, just improvise and use a cardboard box cu into a ring. If you don't have macrame cord, then wool will work just as well. Follow along so i can share with you how to make a macrame pumpkin.

Step 1
Take the orange macrame cord and cut a length. I cut mine to be 200cm long.

Take the wooden ring and make a larks head knot through the wooden ring.

Step 2
Now take the long of cord and keep making larks head knots all the way around the wooden ring, Do this until all the ring is totally covered.

Your Wooden ring should now be looking like the picture below.

Step 3
Using the 2 long strands of orange macrame cord, make a gathering knot with the brown cord. To make the gathering knot make a loop with the brown macrame cord and then wrap it around approx 5 times.
Thread the cord through the loop and pull tight and this will secure your gathering knot.

Trim off all the remaining long pieces of cord.

Now your cute macrame pumpkin is all complete.
