Step 1

Cut 2 lengths of the 6mm macrame cord per ghost. I cut mine to be about 15cm long.

Separate all the strands, this will help with brushing later.

Step 2

Line up and hold the separated strands of cord. Take the 3mm macrame cord and start to wrap it around the separated strands of cord. Leave a couple of cm's at the end.

Keep wrapping until you have created about a 10 cm length piece of wrapped cord. You should be able to fold it in half like in the picture below.

Step 3

To finish it off thread the macrame cord through the large eye needle and push the needle up through the wrapped wool. This will thread the end of the cord up and under the wrapped cord. This will help to hold it in place and stop it coming undone.

Once you have done that, it should look like the picture below. All thats left to do is trim off the excess cord that has been threaded.

Step 4

Repeat the whole process again and make another length of wrapped macrame cord. This time this length should be slightly longer. But, when they are both folded over the bottoms of the cord should line up.

Step 5

Add a small amount of hot glue to the inside of the shortest wrapped cord. Press the cords together until the glue has set.

Next place some glue on the outer side of the folded cords. Line up the other cord and press them together firmly. Continue to do this all the way around to secure the cords together.

Step 6

Trim some of the cord at the bottom to make it look a bit neater.

Next, use the macrame brush and brush the cords to straighten them all out and separate them.

Step 7

Take a small piece of the black card and cut 2 small ovals out of the card to make the ghost eyes.

Secure the eyes on the ghost using the hot glue.

Step 8

Cut a length of the 3mm macrame cord and thread it through the large eye needle. Use the needle to thread the cord through the top of the ghost ready to hang it.

Thread the bead onto the cord too.
