3 quick and simple toilet tube boredom breaker toys

We all know that hamster love to chew things so why not have a go at making your own boredom breaker toys. They are really quick and simple to make. These are great fun for kids to get involved with making and watching their hamster enjoy playing with them. Have a go at making these 3 quick and simple toilet tube boredom breaker toys.

What you will need:

3 Toilet tubes

Scissors

Ruler

pencil

Hole punch

Hamster treats

Treat Ball

Take one of the toilet rolls and using the ruler make a mark every 1 1/2 cms. Do this for the whole toilet tube.

Take the scissors and cut along the marks cutting the tube into strips.

Take the strips and start placing them inside each other to make a ball. Keep them all close so there are no big gaps.

When all the ball is complete find a little gap and pop in some hamster treats.

Your treat ball is complete. Hope your hamster enjoys it!

Treat Parcel

Take one of the toilet rolls and punch holes in it using the hole punch.

You can always use a pencil to make the holes if you don't have a hole punch. Punch holes on both sides of the tube keeping them spaced out well.

Next fold down the side of the tube at one end and then repeat with the other side.

Once you have closed one end pop in some of the hamster treats and repeat the same process with the other side.

This will make a little parcel for your hamster to enjoy.

Treat Roller

Take the final toilet tube and using the ruler measure 2cm from each end. Next take the scissors and make cuts upto the pencil line you have made. keep the cuts close together so you make thin strips of cardboard.

Start by carefully folding over the cardboard strips towards the centre of the tube.

Do this all the way around.

Once the end of the tube is all closed up the turn it around and pop some treats into the tube.

Repeat the same process with the open end to seal in the treats.
