Wool ghosts are really easy to make and a great craft to get the kids involved with. If you have spare wool in your craft supplies these are a great way to use up any wool and have some creative fun. You don't even have to stick to making white ghosts either! Keep reading to see how to make a wool ghost.
Materials I used:
Note book for wrapping wool around.
Step 1 Wrapping the wool
Take the wool and wrap it around the book (or other item you have chosen) I found that wrapping it 100 times made a good sized ghost.
Place a smaller piece of wool through the wrapped wool. Remove all the wrapped wool from the book and tie all the wool together using the smaller piece of wool. I left the piece of wool long after I tied it so I could use the wool to hang the ghost when it was complete.
Using the scissors, cut through the bottom of the wrapped wool. The wool will then be individual strands.
Step 2 Making the Ghost
Cut another smaller piece of wool and wrap this around the tied wool about an inch and half from the top. This will make the ghost face.
Trim the bottom of the wool to neaten it up if you wish. You can leave it as it is if you prefer.
Step 3 Making The Ghost Face
Cut 2 really small oval pieces of black felt, using the hi tack glue attach them to the ghost head you have made. You can add a mouth too if you wish.
Now your wool ghost is all completed and ready to hang and spoke your friends.
