Halloween is just around the corner but there is still plenty of time to make a ghost banner. I bet you even have everything you need in your home ready to get making. These are really easy to make using very few supplies. These ghost banners can easily be adapted to match your style and theme. You can really get creative with them putting any wording on the little ghosts. I will show you step by step how I made my easy to make ghost banner.
Materials I used:

Silver Card - White card makes excellent ghosts as well

Step 1 Making the ghosts
Using my ghost template cut out ghosts in your desired colour of card. Cut as many as feel you would like in your banner. I cut out 6 ghosts in silver glitter card.
Step 2 Cutting the letters
On my banner I am placing the words Hey Boo. You can of course put any wording you like on the front of your banner. You can also just have hanging ghosts with no words on.
If you want your banner to say Hey Boo use my template. Cut out the letters and ghost eyes in black card.

Step 3 Making the ghosts
Next, stick the eyes and the letters onto the front of the ghosts. You can use any glue that you have. I used hot glue as I find that is the best glue to use on glitter card. I placed the eyes on first and then I added the letter under the eyes.

These are how the ghosts looked once I had added all the eyes and letters.

Step 4 Punching the holes
Now your ghosts are made, let's make the holes for hanging them. Using a single hole punch I made 2 holes above the ghost eyes. Repeat this on all your ghosts.

Take the first ghost you made holes in and use this as a guide for punching the holes in the other ghosts. This is a great way of making sure all the holes are located in a similar place.

Step 5 Assembling the banner
Taking the ribbon, thread it through the holes you have made on the ghosts. Start with the last ghost you want to be on your banner.

Be sure to leave some extra ribbon at either end of your ghosts so you can hang up your ghost banner.

Now your ghost banner is all ready to hang up for halloween.
