Having curved text can be a great addition to your projects. In this blog I will show you how to curve text in Cricut Design Space. This will allow you to make even more amazing projects.
Choosing the text
Chose the text that you wish to use. You can do this by opening up a new canvas. Click on the text icon at the left side of the canvas. This will bring up a text box.
Start typing the word/s you wish to use. I also made my design smaller so I could see it better on the screen when it starts to curve.
Curving the text downwards
Head up to the curve icon at the top of the screen. When you click on it you will see a box with the word Diameter and a slider bar.
If you start to slide the dot on the bar to the right, you will see the text start to curve downwards.
The further along the bar you slide the dot the more harsh the curve will be.
If you slide the dot right to the end of the bar then the text will meet.
Curving the text upwards
If you slide the bar to the left you will see that the text will start to curve upwards.
The further along you slide the bar the more the text will curve. Sliding the car all the way to the end will result in the text meeting.
This is how to curve text in design space. It is super simple but allows you to get creative with your designs.
