Step 1

Red, white and blue wool with a cardboard heart shape.

Using an old cardboard box cut out some cardboard hearts. Try and make all the hearts the same size. Cut out as many as you require for your garland to reach your desired garland length.

Step 2

Place some hot glue down the centre of your heart.

Lay your wool in the glue and begin to wrap the wool around the wooden heart. Try and keep the wool quite tight so you have no loose bits of wool showing.

Continue to do this until all the heart is covered in wool. Once you have finished tie the wool at the back of the heart and cut off any excess wool you don't need.
