How To Access And Use The Cricut Heat Press Guide

The Cricut website offers a variety of features on machines, accessories and materials. It also offers a handy heat press guide. In this blog I will show you step by step how to access and use the Cricut heat press guide.

Step 1 Load Up Cricut Design Space

Load up cricut design space and on the left hand side of the screen you will see where it says Heat Guide. Click on Heat Guide and it will take you to cricut.com.

You can also access the heat guide by simply going straight to cricut.com.

Step 2 Locating The Heat Guide

When you are on the cricut website, scroll all the way down to the bottom of the website. At the bottom you will see under the subheading products that the Heat Guide is listed.

Step 3 Select Your Machine

Click on the heat guide, then select the machine you will be using to view the instructions.

Once your machine is selected, select the Heat Transfer Material that you will be using. There is a drop down list that will allow you to select from. If you can not find the exact heat transfer material you are using, I would just normally select the closest material available.

After selecting the heat transfer material, select the Base Material that the heat transfer material will be applied too. There is a drop down list with materials for you to choose from.

When you are happy with your selection, click apply.

Step 4 The Heat Settings

You should now see the recommended heat settings required based on your selections. These are the heat settings that Cricut recommend. It shows full instructions. preheat time, temperature, time, pressure required and when to remove the liner.

It also gives an option to change the temperature from Fahrenheit to Celsius.

If you then scroll lower down, you will see further instructions on supplies needed, prep, application and care.

Cricut really have thought of it all when compiling the heat guide. It makes using any of their machines much easier, allowing you to use all the right heat settings for your designs and projects.
