These little ghost wands are really cute whilst being easy to make. They are also selling really well on Etsy right now. So if you are looking at making halloween crafts to sell, these little wands will be perfect. I am going to take you through step by step how to make a ghost wand. These can either be made for you or you can make them to sell in time for Halloween.
Materials I used:
Step 1
Cut a piece of card approx 8'' by 6''. I just used a cardboard box for this. Wrap the wool around the piece of card approx 50 times.
Using another small piece of wool. Tie it through the top of the wool that is wrapped around the card. Then remove the tied wool from the card.
Step 2
Cut through the bottom of the wool using some sharp scissors.
Open up the wool and place enough glue in the middle of the wool to stick to the wooden dowel.
Place the wooden dowel in the centre of the glue and hold for a minute to allow the glue to set.
Step 3
Cut a piece of ribbon and tie around the wool and wooden dowel. This will form the ghost face.
Using the hole punch. Cut 2 or 3 pieces of black foam or felt. These will be used for the eyes and a mouth if required.
Attach the felt or foam to the wool using the hot glue. This will make your ghost face. As the circles are so small I used a cocktail stick to apply the glue.
When you have applied your ghost face, your ghost wands are ready to enjoy (or sell)
