I love making cute things using washcloths so i really loved how these washcloth Swiss rolls turned out. Making washcloths into cute gifts is really easy once you know how. It makes a simple washcloth look more than what it is. A washcloth on its own is pretty bog standard but by making it into something cute it makes for a nicer gift by just getting creative. In this blog i am walking you though step by step how to make a washcloth Swiss Roll.

Supplies you will need:
Step 1
Take the brown washcloth, fold one side over. The washcloth is going to be folded into 3 so it needs to be folded so it is just over the centre.
Then fold over the other side. The edge needs to line up with edge that is already folded. To look like the picture below.
Take the white washcloth and fold it the same way the brown washcloth is folded. Fold one side over to be just over the centre of the washcloth. We are also folding this washcloth into 3.
Then fold the remaining side over so it meets with the folded edge of the flannel.
Step 2
Place the white washcloth on tope of the brown washcloth. If they are not quite the same size it does not matter.
Start to roll the washcloths. whilst you are doing this it might push the white washcloth so that some of the washcloth sticks out the end. Do not worry if this happens as it will not affect the end result.
Once it is all rolled it should look like the picture below.
Step 3
All thats left to do now is add some ribbon around the centre of the washcloths. This will hold them together. Tie the ribbon in a bow.
To make the ribbon ends decretive, fold the the tails of the ribbon in half and use the scissors to cut the ribbon at an angle.
Now you have a really cute washcloth Swiss roll that will make a really cute gift.
You can make these in any colours that you want and they will look equally as cute.
