Step 1 Making the pompom
Cut a piece of card from a box, measuring 8'' wide by 6'' high. Wrap the red wool around the card approximately 200 times.

Remove the wool from the card and tie the wool in the middle.

Once tied, cut all the way around the edge to give you a straggly looking pompom.

Trim around the pompom to tidy it up.

Step 2 Making a small pompom
Take the pink wool and wrap the wool around 2 fingers. Wrap the wool approximately 25 times.

Remove the wool from your fingers and tie the wool. Cut around the edge of the wool as you did with the red pompom.

Trim the pompom to tidy it up.

Step 3 Making the Antenna
Take the pipe cleaner and fold it in half and cut it. This will allow you to make 2 Antenna's.

Take 1 of the pipe cleaners and wrap it around the pencil.

Remove the pipe cleaner form the pencil and repeat with the other pipe cleaner. Using hot glue, glue the antenna into the pompom as shown in the picture below.

Step 4 Assembling the rest of your love bug
Glue the glitter card hearts on to the antennas using hot glue.
Glue the goggly eyes and the pompom nose onto the front of the pompom to make the love bugs face.

Now your Love bug is complete. Remember you can have loads of fun making these Love bugs in any colour combinations you want to.
