I love these really cute halloween bags. I especially love the fact that they are so easy to make using glow in the dark vinyl. They will even look equally as great if you just use normal heat transfer vinyl. With minimal supplies and a cutting machine you can easily make these cute bags to spook your friends at Halloween. Materials I used to make my glow in the dark halloween bags:

I used a free pumpkin design from designbundles.net so if you thinking of making one of these halloween bags you can find the designs below . https://designbundles.net/free-design...

Step 1 Measuring the bag
Using a tape measure, measure the front of the tote bag. This will give you an idea of what size you will need your design to be for the front of your tote bag.

Step 2 Finding the design
I used a free pumpkin design that I got from designbundles.net. For the front of your bag you could use any halloween themed design of your choice. You can find the design I used here.

Step 3 Uploading the design
When you have decided on a design, open cricut design space and upload the design. Make sure the design is shown as a cut image. Click upload and your design will be shown in recent uploads next, click add to canvas.

You should now see your design on your cricut design space canvas. The first thing I like to do next is to change the size of the design making sure that it will fit on the front of my bag.
Change the size by adding your dimensions into the size box at the top of the design space canvas.

Step 4 Preparing the vinyl
Place the glow in the dark vinyl coloured side down onto a standard grip mat. I used a brayer to make sure that it was really well secured down. Always place the vinyl in the top left of the cutting mat.
If you do not have glow in the dark vinyl, do not worry normal HTV will look just as good, it just will not glow!

Select the correct material setting in design space. I used the premium vinyl setting to cut the vinyl. As the vinyl is heat transfer vinyl it is important to mirror the design.
Once the design is cut remove the vinyl from the mat and weed the vinyl. You should only be left with the design that you want to put on the front of your bag.

Step 5 Applying the vinyl
Turn on your heat press to 135 degrees celsius to be warming up.
Place your design on the front of your bag, using a tape measure, measure the distance at each side of the design as well as top and bottom to make sure the design is central.

When you are happy with the position of the vinyl, press firmly for 30 seconds using a heat press. After you have pressed the front, turn the bag over and press the back for another 30 seconds. This will help secure the vinyl to the material.

Now that your bag is all finished you are ready to spook people when you got out trick or treating.
