Easy To Make Valentines Heart Canvas

With Valentines day just around the corner, now is the perfect time to start making valentines crafts. In fact this little easy to make Valentines heart canvas could be made at anytime in the year as it is so cute.

This could also be made using a larger canvas if that fits better with your requirements. To make it more colourful you could also switch the paint colours to make them any colours you like.

Supplies I used:

This cute painting craft did not require many supplies at all. The supplies I used are listed below:

Mini canvas

Red and white Acrylic paint

White Self Adhesive vinyl

Greaseproof paper

Cotton Buds

Step 1

Open the canvas. Using a heart cut from self adhesive vinyl, position the heart in the centre of the canvas. I did use a tape measure to measure each side to make sure it was central. Remove the backing paper and stick the heart down firmly to the canvas.

Step 2

Using red and white acrylic paint mix multiple shades of pink paint.

I initially mixed 3 different shades of pink paint. Once I started painting the canvas I had extra space so I then mixed another lighter shade of pink paint to fill the extra space.

Step 3

Using the cotton buds dipped in the paint, start making small dots of paint on the canvas. I started with the darkest colour first and ended with the lightest shade of pink.
